Acne Sun Lamp

Sun lamps/tanning beds…ACNE cure?!?!?

I have occasional outbreaks of adult acne – red bumps that are tender and hurt to the touch. I sometimes go to the tanning booth and this helps dry my skin and the outbreaks are fewer and farther between. Lately, I haven’t been able to go because of a hectic work schedule – was looking a good brand of facial tanning lamp for home use? I know all the risks of UV etc, but this is the only thing that keeps my outbreaks to minimum. I’ve tried medications, prescriptions, and topical creams and gels – nothing works as well. Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks :)
Serious answers only please – obviously if I’ve tried prescription meds, I’ve been to the doctor. Smart remarks aren’t needed (microwaving my skin). I am an educated adult and understand the causes of skin cancer and how to protect yourself etc. What I am asking for is a recommendation from someone who has used one and had results whether good or bad. Thanks.

For the time being it may seem as if your skin is getting better, but the damage from the tanning beds in the long run will actually make your skin worse overall and will probably just cause acne again. Along with the dryness the sun/ or tanning beds cause, since they tan your skin it may also seem like your acne is getting better. Since this is the only thing that works for you im not telling you not to do it, but maybe speak to a dermatologist or your doctor first and just see what they have to say. If i were you i would instead go out in the sun a bit more for short periods of time as often as possible(avoid getting burnt and avoid using tanning beds when possible) and maybe try getting a spray tan or use a facial tanning lotion instead.i dont live in the us so i cant suggest any brands of sun lamps or where to buy them, but im sure if you try ebay they would have a selection at much cheaper prices(just incase you choose to buy one)

Hope that helps and good luck =]
