Acne Sun Exposure

What does it mean when prescription acne cream says not to go in sun?

Well I mean you can go in the sun, but it mentions overexposure or too much exposure in the sun. I’m just curious why does it affect it? I’ll probably be going away down south to the carribean in the spring or summer, and I always always burn. I’m fair skinned and my parents burn too, no matter how much sunscreen I wear. I’m just curious as to what would happen/why they mention that?

This means that this product does not repel the sun, it makes your skin more sensitive to the sun. If you do go out into the sun you should be fine if you use a higher SPF. I also use acne perscription and it says the same i usually use the neutrogena SPF 45 or higher sunscreen.
